Mobile digital transformer test lab

The MarsLab-61850 is equipped for performing a full range of test/calibration works of measuring equipment in both conventional and digital (IEC 61850-9-2) substations.

Scope of application

Accuracy testing and calibration of:
Electronic current transformers with IEC 61850-9-2 digital outputs rated at up to 5 kA
Electronic voltage transformers with IEC 61850-9-2 digital outputs rated at up to 500/√3 kV
Conventional current and voltage instrument transformers (accuracy class 0.2)
Merging Units (accuracy class 0.1)
Electrical energy meters with either digital (IEC 61850-9-2) or conventional inputs (accuracy class 0.2S)
Phasor Measurement Units (PMU) of accuracy class 0.1
Protection and control equipment with IEC 61850-9-2 inputs (accuracy class 0.2)

Sphere of application

The mobile laboratory was designed to be used by metrological inspection services: to test, maintain and repair to some extent measuring equipment installed at both conventional and digital substations and to perform their regular calibration and certification.

As part of the reference setup MarsTest-61850, Energomonitor-61850 provides for accuracy testing of Merging Units, conventional electrical energy meters, PQ analyzers, protection and control systems.

As part of the reference setup MarsTest-61850, the calibrator provides for accuracy testing of digital meters, PQ analyzers, protection and control systems with IEC 61850-9-2 digital outputs.
