Purpose

Testing and calibration of electrical energy meters, PQ analyzers and phasor measurement units (PMU) with 61850-9-2LE outputs.

Synthesis of IEC 61850-9-2 data streams in compliance with all timing, continuity and UTC synchronization requirements for packet data transmission.

Description

Marsgen-61850 comes as a single unit in an IP67 enclosure. The following connectors are installed under a hermetically sealed cover:

  • Ethernet for connection to a PC which synthesizes digital streams and controls the whole instrument;
  • Digital stream output for connection to a SFR adapter;
  • Frequency inputs/outputs (BNC) for synchronization with an external source;

MarsGen-61850 is controlled from an external control terminal (PC) by the specialized software.
